Everyone has questions so we compiled a list of the ones we hear the most. We are here as your support system as well as your wardrobe stylist and cheerleader! Don’t feel shy about asking us for anything, that’s what we are here for!
Who is a typical client? We have clients of all ages, shapes, and sizes. Our clients are generally married women or brides to be that are looking for a unique and memorable gift for their man. Our clients use their albums for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Valentine’s, Father’s Day, and more. Wives of service men have sent them overseas to their husbands. Sure beats the usual care package! Brides love giving them as a wedding gift to their grooms. Can you imagine how he feels getting dressed right before the big moment and he opens this knock out album of the girl of his dreams? Can you imagine your husband expecting the same old tie for Father’s Day and instead he gets this album filled with images of his sexy gorgeous wife?
Is there a minimum age? You must be at least 21 to participate in our Intimates.
I’m not a size 4 and all the girls in your samples are skinny. I’m not skinny, will I still look good in photos? (you have no idea how many times a week I get this question) YES! It’s all about angles and finding your favorite parts. We’ll discuss what you love about your body and we’ll work to accentuate those areas. If there is an area you want to avoid, we can do that too. With the use of my dynamic lighting, and posing, only your best features are highlighted. Most of the girls in our examples are a mix of sizes 4- 14. They are posed and lit in ways that brings forth the natural beauty in their shape.
Where are the Intimate Portrait Creations held? Sessions can be held in our studio, the comfort of your home, an elegant hotel or an outdoor location of your choice.
Who will be present during my portrait creation? Laura is the sole photographer for all intimate portrait creations. On occasion she will bring a female assistant.
How long do sessions typically last? Sessions last between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on the package you choose.
I don’t know how to pose! Help! Each session comes with lots of coaching on how to pose. I will make sure you know exactly what you are doing.
I am so nervous. Is that normal?
It is a rare occasion to have a client without any butterflies. It isn’t often that we find our selves in this situation which is what makes it so exciting and fulfilling but at the same nerve racking. Nerves are normal but generally disappear after a few minutes. What we usually hear by the time the session is over is,” WOW that was quick! I had so much fun!”
Can I bring a girlfriend along? You are more than welcome to being a girlfriend along with you if it makes you feel more comfortable, however we find that a private, one-on one session produces better results.
Can I bring my husband/fiancé/boyfriend? No, this makes Laura uncomfortable, so please leave him at home and surprise him with the photographs later.
How many outfits should I bring? I suggest at least 4 and up to 6 or 7 outfits are best. The more clothing choices you have the more image options you will have for your album later. A pair of black panties and a supportive push-up bra is a must have!
What can I expect during the session? With an intimate portrait session, you are in charge of how your session is conducted. You can be as conservative or as seductive as you are comfortable with. We’ll start by looking through your outfits and chat about the looks your prefer. We’ll begin your session with a relaxed pace and your comfort level.
How long before I see may images? We will have your proofing images ready for viewing within 7 days of your session.
How do I view my images? We’ll reserve an appointment for you to view the images at our studio. Our clients have told us how much they appreciate our help in selecting the best images.
Will my images be kept private? Privacy is our number one concern with Intimate Portraits. All images are kept in strict confidence.
Will you use my images on your website, or advertising? Images are never used without express written consent.
Will you retouch my images? Even super models have retouching and enhancements to their photographs. All Intimates orders include retouching. You will too will be able to have flawless skin, a tummy with no stretch marks, minimized wrinkles, smooth legs, and a little nip and tuck here and there and no one needs to know. Birthmarks are left alone unless requested, as well as tattoos.
How do I schedule and pay for my session? Please give us a call to schedule your session. 800-286-5788 All sessions are pre-paid to reserve your date and time. A paypal invoice will be sent for payment of your package along with all the information you’ll need to prepare for your session.
What happens if I need to reschedule? Due to the scheduling of our assistant staff, a $50 rescheduling fee will be required for cancellations with less than 7 days notice. You have 3 months to transfer your retainer to a new date before it is forfeited.
